DAPA-Sponsored Free Climb Weekend
The DAPA-sponsored team competition at the Harvard Bouldering Wall was
a huge success and it was super competitive. Several teams battled to round
out the last spots in the top five teams, with the deciding measure
often being teams that simply completed the most climbs rather than
climbing extremely difficult routes. In many cases, having every member complete five climbs made the difference between placing and not placing. Congratulations
to all teams for a great competition! Thanks to DAPA, FiveTen, EMS, Sportiva, and Patagonia for helping to sponsor an awesome event!

2. Team Kirkland: 16,006 points

All of the members of Team GSAS won free memberships to the wall.Team Kirkland won a free two-hour private wall session for their house. And finally, Team Hanah won a one-hour private wall session for their group.

General Info
On December 7th and 8th, DAPA will sponsor all climbers at the wall. This means that all Harvard students climb for free! Your friendly wall staff will be keeping the wall open late (until 2am) in order to throw a kick ass climbing party and team competition, Teams will consist of five members each, so come with a club that you’re in, a group of friends, and entryway, etc. It’s up to you. Teams will compete for tons of awesome prizes, including a free private event at the wall!
Here’s a brief schedule:
Friday, December 7 - Join us for a kick-ass climbing party thhat'll be going on all night long. All Harvard affiliates are welcome, and we'll be raffling off free backpacks, t-shirts, etc and holding several different mini-competitions throughout the night.
Saturday, December 8 - The team competition starts at 5pm and will be running all night. We'll have tons of awesome give-aways and teams will compete against each other for glory and fame by climbing different routes and succeeding in many different mini-competitions.

- Preferred 1 hour block to compete (e.g. 9pm -10pm)

Harvard Bouldering Bonanza
More details to come soon – We’ll be having an awesome comp some time during spring shopping period, with over $2500 dollars worth of free stuff to give away. This will be a chance for all the climbers who have been honing their skills at the wall this semester to come out and flex their muscles, show their impeccable technique, and bear down on some awesome new problems.
