Climb Outside
If you enjoy indoor climbing at the Bouldering Wall and would like to put your skills to the test outside, the Harvard Mountaineering Club would love to have you. Despite the title, we are a community of students active in a variety of adventure sports, including rock climbing (sport and trad), ice climbing, mountaineering, backcountry skiing, surfing, and more. We meet weekly at 8pm in Claverly Hall, and take trips ranging from weekend daytrips to New Hampshire to multiple week adventures in the Rockies.
Although there are many experienced climbers in the club, we are very welcoming to beginners, and in fact almost all of us learned to climb at Harvard. To join, just ask any wall staffer for more information about the HMC, or check out our website at www.harvardmountaineering.org.
