Harvard Bouldering

Rock climbing makes you strong.

That’s why we built the Harvard Bouldering Wall, located in the basement of A-entryway in Lowell House (open only to Harvard ID holders). We have a dedicated staff who open the wall every single night and can teach you everything you’ll need to know to have fun and stay safe. And we can provide all the gear you need to climb. So whether you’re a rock-crushing climbing fiend or a curious newbie thinking that climbing is way too scary or dangerous, come try it out! We promise you’ll have a kick-ass time.

Where

Enter Lowell House and follow buildings on your right. A-entryway is in the back-right corner of the courtyard. The wall is located in A-entryway, two flights of stairs down. If you are not an undergraduate with universal access you will have to sign in at the building manager's office at the main gate.

When

The wall is open on weekdays from 5pm to 11pm, and on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 4pm to 9pm.

To look at the wall schedule and see all the hours the wall will be open this week, visit our Google calendar here!

For an even easier way to figure out when your favorite staffers will be opening the wall, just add the Lowell Climbing Wall public calendar to your own Google calendar account.

Pricing

We ask that people either buy a $3 day pass or a $20 semester membership to help us cover the cost of buying new gear, chalk, and most importantly awesome new holds for you guys to pull on!

Why

Because it’s an absolutely awesome place to meet new people, get in shape, push your limits, and procrastinate on that paper that you should be writing.
